Our Process

From idea to real users in 6–10 weeks

A focused, ship-first process. We scope hard so the timeline holds and the budget doesn't move.

1
Scope
Discovery workshop. We cut the feature list to what actually validates the idea.
2
Prototype
Clickable Figma prototype. Show investors and early users before we write code.
3
Build
Two-week sprints with weekly demos. Frontend, backend, auth, and admin land first.
4
Integrate
Stripe billing, analytics, error tracking, and the third-party APIs your product needs.
5
Ship
Cloud deploy, beta-user onboarding, and full handoff — codebase & docs are yours.
FAQ

Questions, answered

MVPs are full of trade-offs. Here's how we make the right ones for early-stage products.

What counts as an MVP — and what doesn't?

An MVP is the smallest thing that proves the core hypothesis with real users. If it has 30+ features, a settings page, role-based admin, and SSO — it's not an MVP, it's a v1. We aggressively cut scope to the 3–5 features that actually test the idea, and we'll push back when the feature list is too big to ship in 10 weeks.

What's actually in the $5,000 starter price?

A small, focused MVP: 4–6 screens, user auth, one core flow (e.g. a booking system, a simple SaaS dashboard, a marketplace listing), Stripe payments if needed, Vercel deployment, and full source. Larger MVPs scope from there based on feature count, third-party integrations, and design complexity — typical range is $5k–25k.

Who owns the code and IP?

You do — fully, from day one. We work as work-for-hire under a clear contract. Repos transfer to your GitHub org on final payment, AWS/Vercel accounts are in your name, and there's no ongoing licensing. If you ever leave us, you walk with everything.

Should I use no-code instead?

Honest answer: sometimes yes. If your MVP is a Typeform + Airtable + Zapier setup that tests demand in two weeks, do that — we'll even build it for cheaper. We start recommending real code when you need custom UX, real-time data, complex business logic, or a path to scale past a few hundred users without re-platforming.

Can you keep building after the MVP ships?

Yes — most clients do, either through ongoing development retainers ($3k–8k/mo) or per-sprint engagements. We can also help you hire your first in-house engineer and hand off cleanly, which we think is the right move once you have product-market fit and predictable revenue.

Is the MVP investor-ready?

It's demo-ready — clean UI, working core flow, real data, and a deployment URL you can send to investors. We've had multiple MVPs raise pre-seed and seed rounds. We're not pitch coaches, but the artifact won't be what holds the round back.

What tech stack do you use, and why?

Default stack: Next.js + TypeScript + Tailwind on the frontend, Node.js or Next API routes on the backend, PostgreSQL via Supabase or Neon, Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting. It's boring, hireable, and lets your next engineer ship on day one. We'll deviate for good reasons (real-time, ML, mobile), not for taste.
