FAQ

Questions, answered

Branding has a lot of opinions floating around. Here's how we actually work.

How long does a brand project take?

A standard logo + palette + type system delivers in 2–3 weeks. Full brand identity with guidelines, stationery, and social templates runs 4–6 weeks. UI/UX work (Figma wireframes, prototype) scopes separately based on the screen count.

What's actually in the $800 starter price?

Logo design (3 concept directions, 2 revision rounds), a primary + secondary color palette, a heading + body typography pairing, and final delivery in AI, SVG, PNG, and PDF — both light and dark variants. Larger packages add guidelines documents, stationery, and social templates.

Do I really own the logo and source files?

Yes. Full commercial usage rights and editable source files (.AI and Figma) transfer to you on final payment. You can trademark it, modify it, or hand it to a different designer down the road — it's your IP.

What if I don't like the first concepts?

That's what the discovery workshop and three-direction phase are designed to prevent — but if all three miss, we'll redo the first round at no charge once. After that, additional rounds price at $200 each. This almost never happens because we front-load the alignment work.

Can you redesign an existing brand?

Yes — refreshes are typically faster than starting from scratch because the strategic direction is already set. Pricing depends on how far the refresh goes: a polish-up (clean type, tighten palette) is $400–600; a true redesign keeping equity but modernizing form is in the $800–1,500 range.

Do you do UI/UX design as a standalone service?

Yes. Figma wireframes, hi-fi mockups, interactive prototypes, and design systems — for web apps, marketing sites, mobile apps, or internal tools. Pricing scopes by screen count and component complexity; ask for a quote with a feature list.

Will the brand work on my website and packaging?

That's the whole point — every brand we build gets tested across the real surfaces it'll live on (web hero, business card, social avatar, favicon, app icon). The guidelines doc shows exact specs for each context so any future designer or printer has the right values.
